I wrote a previous review on this item, but it seems to have been removed. My mother gave us one of these cribs back in March 2006 before our daughter was born. We've had it in our home ever since up until this coming Saturday when we'll be lending it to a friend who is expecting. My daughter was using it until last Saturday. That makes more than four years of use out of this crib, and it's held up beautifully. The only reason we didn't convert to full size bed after she outgrew the day bed was because we already had another bedroom suite (my childhood one) ready to be used.
The product looks so much better than the pictures can do it justice. It was easy to assemble, though we did have one hiccup where a part was missing. We just called up Storkcraft and they sent it out to us in no time!
As I mentioned before, it's very durable. My daughter is not by any means a "gentle" person with her bed, and since we switched it to a day bed, she's been known to jump on it occasionally. She's even been known to pull out the drawer underneath the bed and camp out in it. Not so much as a dent.

I just bought this crib for my 1 year old daughter. I plan on using it for the next baby as well and it looks like it will hold up just fine. The drawer is not cheaply made at all and it can fit a lot of blankets. I wanted a better quality crib than I had previously had for my daughter, but I did not want to spend $400+ on one, so this fit the bill! Love it! It was also easy to put together and came all the way to Hawaii without any broken areas or scratches.

I took me just over 2 hours to put it together only to realize I had mixed up two of the four corner legs and had to swap two of them diagonally later. There are two front legs and two back legs. I originally thought all 4 were the same. Probably my mistake but instructions could be clearer.
I decided to add some wood glue to put the bed together for extra strength, especially the solid sides since they will not have to come apart later. The drawer supports are NOT the same espresso color and you can see their natural color at certain angles, especially with the mattress support in the high position. I may stain them to match the crib later.
The front panel also has an in/out sides which is not obvious. I originally put the wrong side out and noticed the metal pins showing, then had to turn it around.
The drawer is a nice addition but its operation is a little flimsy. It has to be pulled exactly from the middle and straight out otherwise it can stick.
The instructions were on the bottom panel, which holds the mattress. It would have been easier to also have them printed on a sheet of paper. There were a few screws left over and two more leg supports and wood. Those are for converting it to a twin bed later and have to be stored somewhere in the house until then.
It's better to have a second person while installing to help out and avoid scratching the finish which can be done very easily. The crib seems to be made of very soft wood and the finish is very thin and seems to rub off relatively easily. I had a few scratches I did/re-did it by myself.
Overall, my wife and I love the look of bed and it seems very sturdy once put together correctly.
